Plain Liposomes provide a versatile and customizable platform for the encapsulation and delivery of a wide range of therapeutic agents, including drugs, proteins, and nucleic acids.
Our Doxorubicin Liposomes are meticulously engineered for targeted cancer therapy. Encapsulating doxorubicin in liposomal vesicles enhances its therapeutic index by improving drug solubility, stability, and bioavailability while reducing systemic toxicity.
Designed for advanced gene therapy and molecular biology applications, our DNA/RNA Liposomes facilitate the efficient delivery of nucleic acids into target cells. These liposomes protect DNA/RNA from enzymatic degradation and enhance cellular uptake through endocytosis.
Tracer Liposomes are optimized for biodistribution studies and in vivo tracking applications. By incorporating fluorescent or radioactive markers, these liposomes enable precise visualization and tracking of liposomal delivery systems within biological systems.
Cationic Liposomes are designed to enhance the delivery of nucleic acids and other negatively charged biomolecules through electrostatic interactions.
Anionic Liposomes are engineered for the encapsulation and delivery of positively charged molecules, such as peptides and proteins.
Surface Reactive Liposomes are modified to allow covalent attachment of ligands, antibodies, or other targeting moieties. This feature enables the development of highly specific drug delivery systems and diagnostic tools.
Fluorescent Liposomes are embedded with fluorescent markers, making them ideal for imaging and diagnostic applications.
Lyophilized Liposomes are designed for long-term storage and stability. Through a freeze-drying process, these liposomes are converted into a dry powder form, retaining their structural integrity and functionality upon rehydration.

Technical Notes

All liposomes are typically prepared using various lipid compositions, which can be tailored to meet specific application needs. The lipid bilayers form spherical vesicles that can encapsulate both hydrophilic and hydrophobic molecules, making them highly versatile for drug delivery.

Liposomes are usually prepared in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) at pH 7.4, but other buffer systems can be used depending on the application. The preparation process is done under sterile conditions to ensure the highest quality, with liposomes being primarily unilamellar, though multilamellar structures are possible depending on the preparation method.

It is crucial to handle liposomes carefully to maintain their stability and efficacy. Liposomes should be stored at 4°C and should not be frozen, as ice crystal formation can rupture the lipid membranes and alter particle size. Regular monitoring of liposome size and encapsulation efficiency is recommended for quality control.

Appearance

Apurun Liposomes are typically presented as a white or translucent liquid, comprising nano-sized unilamellar vesicles. The appearance may vary slightly based on the lipid composition and encapsulated agents, but generally, they maintain a consistent suspension and do not settle at the bottom of the vial.

Ordering/Shipping Information

All Apurun liposome-based formulations are shipped on blue ice at 4°C, ensuring they remain within the optimal temperature range during transit.

We use insulated packaging and offer overnight or international express shipping through trusted carriers like UPS, FedEx, and DHL to guarantee rapid and reliable delivery.

Customers outside the United States are responsible for their own import taxes and customs paperwork. Apurun is not liable for importation fees incurred in other countries.

To facilitate smoother customs clearance, clients in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China are advised to order through local distributors. This minimizes delays that might occur due to stringent customs regulations.

If preferred, clients can provide their FedEx or DHL account numbers to charge the shipping costs directly.

Apurun cannot control delays due to inclement weather or customs clearance issues. A tracking number will be provided once the order is confirmed, and all subsequent shipping inquiries should be directed to the relevant courier service.

Storage and Shelf Life

Storage: Apurun Liposomes should always be stored in the dark at 4°C to preserve their stability and prevent degradation. DO NOT FREEZE. Freezing can cause the encapsulated drug to be released from the liposomes and alter their size.

Shelf Life: Apurun Liposomes are manufactured fresh daily and shipped the same day. To ensure optimal performance and efficacy, it is recommended to use the products within 4 months of the manufacturing date.
